The owner and staff were friendly af! My hubs and I both loved the Italian Chicken sandwich. The chicken pot pie soup was phenomenal! The vibe is funky and eclectic. A great place to come to with a group of friends to sit around and enjoy the company. We will put this place on our rotation. Can’t wait to go back and try the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese! We love this spot!

BUB cafe is a diamond in the rough. I have been searching for a cafe in the suburbs with good food and drinks, and this place fits the bill. If it were open late, I would probably come way more often. Since they are closed Monday and Tuesday, and they close at 3pm Wednesday, Thursday, & Sunday, I’ll likely only make it in on a Friday or Saturday when they are open till 6pm. What I had: Soup of the day: Spicy chicken and hominy 5/5 this was so flavorful! Drink: Cali Sunrise - I asked for it to be made hot (usually it’s cold) 5/5 this tasted like a nonalcoholic mulled wine/hot toddy. It is perfect for winter. The gentleman who made it said he tested it and might make it a winter drink menu item. My partner had the burger of the day: Burger patty made with lean beef and ground bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, mustard, and pumpkin aoli (but be asked for it without the aoli). This came with chips. 4/5 he loved this. He said it’s the perfect size portion. To go: Chocolate chip cookie 4/5 I heated this up in the over for 5 minutes and it came out perfectly warm and gooey. I highly recommend you try this They have ice cream, but it defrosted accidentally over night, so we will try that another time. We came in a rainy Saturday around 15:30 and there was a spot right out front. There was also live music, which in my opinion was a nice touch, but perhaps a bit too loud. My partner couldn’t hear anything the guy behind the counter said. They sell local artisan jewelry. The decor is super cute. They had the windows dressed for Dia De Los Muertos and Halloween. Wonderful place. Will be back!

Great coffee, great food. The owner is so nice and accommodating - we had a few restrictions and he had great suggestions! Best French onion soup I’ve ever had!

I was introduced to this place a couple weeks ago, went back again today, and will continue to come back. I love it! The vibes are lovely, the food is fantastic, and the drinks are great! I love finding unique places like this and it’s definitely something special! Would highly recommend!

Took my wife out for Mother’s Day, and from the moment I called Jerry was so pleasant and welcoming assure me that I would be seated upon arrival, which we were. And the atmosphere and set up was so homing and relaxing we instantly felt at peace and happy with our choice. We will definitely be back! If you’re looking for a friendly happy cafe with amazing prices and service this is the spot!

Super adorable spot! Very LGBTQ friendly! Food was spot on with a few vegan options, and coffee was great! Owner and staff were all super chill and friendly! Will definitely be going back!

This spot has an amazing atmosphere with absolutely delicious food! We had the croque monsieur and the special. The croque monsieur was a delectable ham and cheese sandwich with savory bechsmel sauce. The special was a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and a fried egg! What more could you ask for! We basically licked the plate clean, lol. I really love the vibe and the owners welcoming personality .

I've been here three times and will continue to return. Great local coffee shop in Blue Island with a good atmosphere. I really like their bagel with the pimento spread it's delicious I got a cappuccino with light mocha, and it was good as well. I just think I need something stronger. I will try another coffee drink with an extra shot of espresso or add it to the cappuccino. Totally recommend trying this place out.
